Mini mass dump !

Here is a render of one of the models I did for Mike Mcvey. These were all printed 40mm tall, the render make him look massive but these guys are tiny. Amazing quality! best I have seen 3d printed by a long way.  They are for his table top game Sedition Wars: Battle for Alabaster.

Long time no see aye.  I have been really busy in a new job in framestores art dept.

I watch the guys at work do some amazing painting. Everyday I'm like HOLY CRAP !

Being inspired by these guys I thought I would finish up that landscape sketch I did a few months back.

Painting is really hard its like going right back to high school for me.

First Life drawing in a long time, plus some 30 mins zbrush fun

finally done a ork lols I am a nerd

Recently I was given a task to design and model an ork concept in 2 work days.

It was hard work but here is a paint over of what I came up with (PO done out with of the two days).

I'll post the model when I get a chance. The focus was more on the costume then the face.

Well its been an ages since I posted last. I'm back in London again, taking a small break from film and trying out game cinematics. I have join a new team at the mill to try and make some geeky projects. So far its alot of fun and fast paced.
I have been computerless for monthes so i have not sculpted anything at home since nz.
Here is a little sketch of a warrior returning home.

Still  trying to learn to ps painting. I'm struggling to find a way of painting digitally I like.

 I still prefer paint, not that I was any better with the either...

Scary alien and first step towards concept :)

I need to get faster at concept sculpting and I also want to get into doing paint overs.

I see a lot of folk doing them really quickly with great results.

So I gave it a try. The sculpt and paint over took about a day.

Ideally I would have two of these or this and 10 greyscale variations or both ;)

I put my hands up I suck at ps but that will change ! I know the photoshoping is a totally cliché but you got to start somewhere.

Demo Reel 2011 !

First thing on my list done ! for now anyway. Not to happy with the compression it seems a bit blurry to me.

Fairly happy with the reel itself but I wish I had more finished personal work for it though.

Hey guys small update .

Got back form London last Sunday, the jet lag was crazy but I was worth it. 

I feel like I'm back to normal to so hopefully I'll will get some more posting on the go.

On the agenda is The alien from a few month's ago, a finished painted concept for the two above and believe it or not a Demo reel da da daahhhhh.

I feel like I should really have one online so keep your eye peeled.
